- How aware are they of emerging agentic AI billing platforms, and how do they rate their capabilities?
- How are companies currently handling AI agent billing, and where are the gaps most acute?
- What pricing model approaches are most common, and where is dissatisfaction highest?
- Who owns the billing stack, how are purchases evaluated, and what does the buying journey look like for infrastructure tools at this stage?
Study Design Highlights
Competitor awareness and capability ratings - Six named platforms in the agentic billing space, with a split-question design: unaided awareness asked first, with capability ratings gated by awareness via skip logic. This produces clean unaided awareness scores and aided capability ratings separately - avoiding the inflation that occurs when respondents rate platforms they've never actually encountered.
Pricing model assessment - Current billing model in use, satisfaction with existing infrastructure, and specific AI agent billing method - directly informing product positioning and pricing page messaging.
